Navigating parenthood is not easy.

But I believe there is no reason not to have a connected and confident relationship with your child(ren). I can help you get there!

Navigating parenthood is not easy.

But I believe there is no reason not to have a connected and confident relationship with your child(ren). I can help you get there!

While each child’s academic challenges are unique,

there’s one thing so many of my families have in common when they start working with me. They are struggling to engage their child with their homework, feeling insecure about their parenting abilities, and exhausted from trying to help their child achieve academic success.

They tell me they are frustrated with the school and how their child is doing and they are desperate for support.

All these loving, intelligent, and empathetic parents wanted to support their child, but assisting them with their academics has proved overwhelming.

As a mom myself, I get it. There’s so much that goes into parenting our kids (in addition to providing them with their daily needs)…

And so much more!

It’s my mission to support families with raising confident kids and help them go from overwhelmed, unsure, and frustrated to optimistic, confident, and supported.

The more our kids are seen and heard, the more confident they are and the better

they can handle the struggles life throws at them.

It’s time to empower our children and our families.

Hi, I’m Thia,

and I help empower parents to raise confident kids and have deeper connections within their families so that they can thrive in and out of school.

With over 12 years of teaching experience in Arizona in both the public and private sector, I’m an expert in building relationships with children that inspire confidence and result in academic success.

Why am I so passionate about supporting children?

I struggled in school and was made fun of for not being able to read in 1st grade. I actually got in trouble for it and the teacher took recess away from me. I was embarrassed, shamed, and scolded for not being on track like my peers. I was ignored and constantly felt like I didn’t matter and wasn’t good enough. I even had to repeat the first grade.

With all the challenges during my early years,  I was determined to graduate highschool (and did it a semester early)! And it took me a couple of years before I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Eventually I enrolled in college, and started to gain confidence in my academic abilities. I transferred over to Arizona State University and graduated Cum Laude!

Not bad for the girl who struggled all throughout her early education.

After graduation, I began my teaching career working in both the public and private school sectors and have taught kids from kindergarten to 4th grade.

The 2020-2021 school year was a life changer. I spent my days at home teaching on a computer, five grade levels every single day, while also having two of my own children at home with me.

During this time I also created big changes to benefit the emotional health of these children at home. I saw problems (viewing their classes during specials; PE, Music, Art, etc. The kids at home were on MUTE simply watching these activities. It infuriated me and I decided to create change.

With the school’s permission, I shifted the school schedule for online learners and every single child who was at home had to begin their day with me twice a week and end their day with me every single day rather than watch their homeroom special classes on a screen. I created a community!

At one point I had about 50 kids online with me all at once. And it WORKED! I had parents emailing me telling me how happy their child was when it was “Lutich Time.”

I was able to TRULY see and hear these children. I made them feel loved and safe. I had never met many of these kids in person and I was still able to connect with them.

This experience is what gave me the inspiration and confidence to leave the school system and serve families independently so I can make an everlasting impact on kids and families lives across the globe.

“Encouraging a child means that one or more of the following critical life messages are coming through, either by word or by action: I believe in you, I trust you, I know you can handle this, You are listened to, You are cared for, You are very important to me.”

“Life at home and school can be overwhelming at times and having a person to check-in with that is trustworthy, open-minded and full of great advice is invaluable.”

“My son adores Ms.Lutich. Life at home and school can be overwhelming at times and having a person to check-in with that is trustworthy, open-minded and full of great advice is invaluable. She identifies areas that need improvement and makes learning fun!

Thia is helping my son work on his handwriting skills, encouraging him to slow down and check his work and build confidence in reading. Thia recognizes when my son feels overwhelmed and will play an educational game with him until he is ready to sit down and complete his work.

Thia makes learning fun and keeps life in perspective. Parenting can be challenging and she always gives the best advice. She helped me prepare for our parent teacher conferences and continues to point out strengths and weaknesses throughout the school year.”
